Jesus entrusted us with caring for the land and each other (Genesis 2:15, Proverbs 12:10), showing love not just with words, but by stepping in and helping when it matters most. He did not come to condemn, but to love, revealing God's character through His actions rather than solely teaching scripture. That spirit of active, hands on service is the true foundation of everything we do here.
When this journey began, it started simply with rescuing stray animals and advocating for creatures who could not speak for themselves. But true compassion never stays confined to just one lane. When you follow that calling where it leads, it opens your eyes to needs everywhere, taking you directly to wherever people, children, or animals need a helping hand.
Jheniru is simply a space designed to put faith into action through everyday work all around the world.
Whether we are stepping in to support local communities, helping children access education, or caring for animals in desperate need, this project is about showing up. It is about being the hands and feet of love in a world that needs it, proving that ordinary people can make a real difference when they decide not to just sit back and watch.

Jheniru combines a personal name with an ancient root to define what this cause stands for. Jhen represents my own identity and the personal heart driving this mission forward every single day. Iru comes from ancient Near Eastern roots like Habiru, where the term was used for displaced populations, outcasts, and those who found themselves outside traditional societal systems and needed a place of safety. Together, Jheniru represents a dedicated space created to give shelter, care, and a true safe haven to those who need it most.
Jheniru is entirely funded by donations from people who believe in putting faith into motion. These donations allow us to gather resources, secure supplies, and sustain our efforts wherever the need is greatest.
All donations go towards direct aid, resources, and project funds go straight to the cause. Personal travel expenses, flight tickets, accommodation, and food are entirely self funded.
Supporters can get involved by sharing our mission, contributing donations to fund ongoing projects, or helping spread awareness about the animals and communities we advocate for. Every bit of support directly fuels the work on the ground.
If you would like to join and help out in a country where I am working, you are welcome to come anytime. However, accommodation, flights, and food must be covered entirely by you. Since donation money goes straight to the people and the cause, helping on the ground and participating in community work is completely free.
If you know where I am, you can budget your trip based on how long you want to stay. If you want to fundraise for your own expenses, emailing me at info@jheniru.com three months in advance will help me explain where I will be and for how long so we can get that planned out.
